DC Shoes Philippines marked another unforgettable Go Skateboarding Day (GSD) last June 21, 2025, with a high-energy celebration that brought together hundreds of skaters, crews, and fans at Bangkok Lane, Filinvest City. Staying true to the global spirit of GSD, this year’s event was all about movement, expression, and the community that holds skate culture together.
The day kicked off with a skateboarding parade — a moving tribute to the scene and a reminder that when we roll together, we roll stronger. The vibe stayed electric with a stacked lineup of contests including Best Trick Jam Sessions, Longest Gap, Game of SKATE, and fun races like Push Race and Tic-Tac Race. Whether you were competing or cheering from the sidelines, the event was filled with raw talent and nonstop energy.
Big thanks to our venue partner, Filinvest City, for giving the skate community space to move freely and safely, and to Grind Philippines for pulling up with their Grind On-Wheels mobile store, bringing the latest DC Gear straight to the scene. A huge shoutout as well to Malachi Skateboarding for their direction and efforts in running the clinic and jam, and to the Muntinlupa LGU for their full support, including the deployment of an ambulance for on-site safety.
We’re also grateful to our event supporters: Clyde Shoe Cleaners, Blameless Skateboards, WebSk8 Boardshop, Salamat Skateboards, KickEngines and Knockaround for fueling the day with prizes, stoke, and love for the culture.
