Transforming Retail Excellence: APEX Trainings last October

Last October, APEX hosted two training programs that ushered in a new era of growth and knowledge for Retail Store Operations. These training sessions left participants equipped with essential skills and knowledge, and we're thrilled to share the highlights with you.

Store Management Training Program (SMTP) ran from October 9 to 25, 2023, with sessions held from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, this program was an intense and comprehensive learning experience. Our dedicated team of trainers, including Madel Perez, Noel Duldulao, Maynard Bulosan, Eljoie Fontanilla, Redeemer Pamintuan, Eriberto De Mesa, and Cris Ordasa, carefully designed the SMTP to equip store managers with the tools and knowledge needed for successful store operations.

The SMTP's main objective was to enhance store efficiency and ensure customers enjoyed exceptional shopping experiences. It offered a perfect blend of traditional classroom learning and practical, real-world scenarios. Through this unique approach, participants gained expertise in effective leadership, the ability to inspire growth, and a strategic perspective to navigate the dynamic retail landscape.

'Don't be afraid to be in the DISCOMFORT ZONE, the risk zone. Try something new, being more than you are now and stretching yourself to new limits,' shared one participant, highlighting the transformative impact of the program.

The Customer Service Professional Program (CCSP), was also designed for our valued Customer Service Associates (CSAs).The CCSP was specifically crafted to elevate our CSAs' ability to navigate customer needs and potential challenges with grace and expertise. The program placed a strong emphasis on enhancing problem-solving, empathy, and communication skills through a combination of engaging lectures and hands-on activities. As a result, participants emerged from the program well-prepared to handle challenging situations with finesse and to cultivate a workplace culture centered around providing exceptional customer service.

One CSA shared their insights: 'Maganda ang programa na ginawa ni Primer para ma improve lahat ng c.s.a sa mga gawain sa selling area at kung pano makipag communicate sa customer ng maayos po. Isang maganda at mahusay na programa lalo na po yung mga trainer.'

The Store Management Training Program (SMTP) and Customer Service Professional Program (CCSP) will be a regular program for new and existing store heads and CSAs, ensuring a continuous investment in the skills and values that drive success in our retail operations.

As a result of these exceptional training sessions, Retail Store Operations is now well-prepared for success, equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional customer experiences and efficiently manage store operations. To encapsulate their experience, one participant eloquently expressed, “Para sakin bukod sa kung paano magmanage at gumawa na plano sa tindahan, pinaka sinasapuso ko ung core values ng company which is ung ISTEP most especially ung "Integrity" dahil ito yung pinaka key sa pagiging successful, at kahit hindi ako magaling sa ibang bagay bastat meron ka nito malayo ang mararating mo hindi lang sa trabaho kundi sa lahat ng bagay” APEX has undeniably paved the way for a brighter future in the retail industry.
