Hello Kitty celebrates 45th Anniversary with Herschel Supply Co.

Herschel Supply Co. takes kawaii to the next level as they launch their newest collaboration collection with Sanrio. The Japanese company teamed up with the Canadian brand to release a line of Hello Kitty bags in celebration of their most iconic character’s 45th anniversary.

Last August 25, 2019, Herschel Supply Co. Indonesia invited all Hello Kitty lovers to the SOGO Plaza Senayan Level 3 to introduce the special anniversary collection. More than a hundred guests and twenty media partners attended and  got the chance to enjoy sweet treats during the pop-up event, hosted by television personality Aurelia Valencia.

Indonesian content creator Vanessa Andrea and young talented singer Netanya Vanessa, who are both Hello Kitty fans, hosted the puzzle battle, which was one of the most entertaining segments of the launch. Sixteen players were picked from the audience but after four rounds, only two players were declared champions.

Herschel Supply Co. Indonesia also gave away Herschel products via an online photo competition in Instagram. All the attendees were asked to upload their best picture on their feed and tell their friends how much they enjoyed the event. Before the program ended, one winner of the best photo of the day was chosen by the SOGO department store.

All the kitty fans in Indonesia got lucky to see the Hello Kitty x Herschel Supply Co. collection firsthand as it was showcased in the SOGO Plaza Senayan for seven days.
