Philippines' e-commerce road map tackled during Last Mile Fulfillment Asia 2018

With the rising population of the Philippines parallel to the increasing number of Filipino internet users, the country’s e-commerce business is pacing fast and is set to catch up and surpass its neighbors.

In the discussion during the Last Mile Fulfilment Asia 2018 held on March 15, 2018 at the Singapore Expo, panelists, including Primer International Management Ltd. (PIML) Managing Director Mark Chim and Cloud Logic Managing Director and Primer Group e-Commerce consultant Sultan Joson, engaged in talks around the topic ‘Philippines Today & its 2020 eCommerce Road map’.

Managing Director Mark Chim gave his insights in the current e-commerce landscape in the Philippines by also providing a glimpse of the Primer Group’s e-commerce road map initiatives and sharing on Philippine buyer behavior shifts and challenges and opportunities given the country’s urban area traffic situation, inter-island setup, and rise of express delivery and on-demand service.

The discussion opened further opportunities for Primer Group to learn more about the Philippines’ current digital landscape in order to move forward and develop the company’s eCommerce arm and be able to deliver superior customer experience.
