What Is PrimerStar and Why Does It Matter?
PrimerStar is a groundbreaking payment and loyalty solution developed in strategic partnership with Mastercard. It represents Asia-Pacific's first live deployment of Mastercard's Next-Generation Point-of-Interaction (NGP) experience.
Launched at Funan Mall in Singapore on February 5, 2026, PrimerStar solves one of retail's most persistent pain points: a fragmented, multi-step checkout experience. Before PrimerStar, shoppers had to dig for physical loyalty cards, juggle multiple brand apps, enter voucher codes, and complete payments. Instead of having different platforms and applications, PrimerStar fixes all of that with a single dynamic QR code scan. One scan recognizes the customer, applies any eligible rewards across all Primer Group brands, and processes a secure payment instantly.

The Numbers Speak for Themselves
The results from the launch speak for themselves. Within the first 25 days, PrimerStar generated over a 30% percentage increase in gross revenue, achieved an 10% percentage increase in average order value, and successfully 30+ additional orders.
