Last weekend of May 10, 2025, the great outdoors came alive as R.O.X. Peak Pursuits and Columbia Hike Society teamed up to host the first International Tourism camp trip of the Primer Group of Companies. This two-day adventure tour wasn’t just a scenic getaway—it marked the exciting launch of Primer’s adventure tourism campaign, aimed at showcasing the Philippines’ breathtaking landscapes to the world.
The mission? Simple but thrilling: bring foreign explorers into the heart of the Philippines through fun, safe, and high-energy outdoor experiences. From lush trails to rugged roads, the country’s rich natural resources offer an untapped playground for adventurers. The highlight of the trip was an adrenaline-pumping 4x4 off-road adventure, giving guests a front-row seat to the wild, untamed beauty of Tanay and General Nakar—two gems tucked between the mountains and the sea.
However, the experience didn’t stop with the scenery. Campers were treated to an unforgettable spread of international and local flavors, with dishes like Adobo ni Waway (a crowd-favorite, double-fried twist on the classic), Chicken Inasal straight from Bacolod, and a heartwarming Beef Sinigang sa Pina that had everyone coming back for seconds. Dining under the stars never tasted so good!
