Primer Group Business Forum 2019 equips leaders with insights and data for effective business planning

To equip Primer leaders in their business planning for the upcoming fiscal  year, Primer Group of Companies organizes the Business Forum, an annual conference that gathers Primer Group’s local and regional executives and some of the country’s experts in terms of local and global economy, real estate, and consumer insights and trends.

For this year’s Business Forum held last July 26, 2019, four speakers from different industries gathered at the WorkPlays building to share their insights in their respective fields to over 140 incumbent and future Primer leaders.

Welcoming participants and special guests to the event was Primer International Management Limited Managing Director Mark Chim, who emphasized the importance of learning about current trends and analyzing how these impact the business to be able to properly forecast and plan into the future.

The morning session featured talks about the local and global economy and about insights in the current Philippine real estate market, ending with a panel discussion moderated by Primer Resources Corp. Senior Vice President Eric Sarmiento; while the afternoon session was about consumer and market insights, and how to use these to personalize brands for consumers.

Bank of the Philippine Islands Senior Economist Rafael Q. Manalili shared insights on the Philippine and Southeast Asian economy, while Phillip Anonuevo, Executive Director of Leechiu Property Consultants, gave his views on the current real estate landscape of the Philippines.

In the afternoon, Patrick Cua, Managing Director of The Nielsen Company Philippines, shared notes on the future of retail, while Lou Ann Navalta, The Nielsen Company Philippines Executive Director, gave tips on how personalization can boost a retailer’s growth.
