June 15, 2010- saw another milestone for the Primer Group of Companies as we gain more accolades from our partners abroad emerging as a leading distributor and brand builder in the region. Sanuk U.S.A. recognized the retail and distribution excellence of the Primer Group through the "Distributor of the Year Award" as presented to our regional distribution arm, Primer International Management Limited. The award was bestowed to the best global top seller and performer for 2009. This prestigious recognition in marketing, sales and distribution was presented by founder Jeff Kelly during the Sanuk 2010 international sales conference. The award was jointly received by Primer group of companies President and CEO Jimmy L. Thai; SVP and head of PIML Mark Chim; Regional sourcing manager Ruby Rull-Tungul and Sanuk Philippines brand manager Vangie Chua. The Primer Group as it celebrates its 25 years in the retail and distribution business have received countless awards and recognitions from its partners and industry experts from the past years. To cite, Jansport, Primer's leading backpack brand was presented "National Consumers Choice Award" and an honor of same caliber was also presented to Kickers as as "Distributor of the Year ".
