SALOMON in partnership with the Philippine Skyrunning Association (PSA), organized a mountain run as an introduction to Skyrunning last 16 January 2010. The run took place at the Sierra Madre mountain ranges, which is a two-hour drive from Manila. Drop-off point was at the PAGASA weather station. The run covered twenty river crossings over a span of fourteen kilometers. Approximately thirty participants joined – mostly comprised of road and trail runners who want to experience a different high from running and up for the challenge of mountain running.
